Is this a quarterly subscription?

Yes! When you place the order, you’re opting in to a subscription for which you’ll automatically be charged once a quarter. Your first payment will process on the day you order; all subsequent recurring payments will process on the cutoff date for orders/changes, one week prior to your box being shipped.

How do I manage my subscription?

After you purchase your subscription, you will receive a welcome email with instructions to create an account on Kakaako Wine’s website. Once you have an account, you can log in and update billing information, place a hold on your next delivery/shipment or cancel your membership at any time, no strings attached. What's included in my box?

HASHI Wine Club members receive a special selection of four (4) bottles delivered to your door four times a year. Each box is curated by a pro from the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival (HFWF) ohana—from chefs and sommeliers to winemakers, beverage professionals and more across the globe. You’ll also receive detailed tasting notes, fun facts about the wines, food pairings and more with each box.

Can I customize my wine box?

HASHI Wine Club is all about discovering new and wonderful wines that aren’t readily available at Kakaako Wine. For this reason, each quarter’s selection is carefully curated by the pros at Hawaii Food & Wine Festival and it is not possible to customize the selection. 

What benefits do HASHI Wine Club members receive?

In addition to receiving four (4) unique, hand-selected bottles four times a year, members will enjoy benefits including:

  • Detailed tasting notes by Hawaii Food & Wine Festival chefs, sommeliers, wine makers and more
  • 10% discount on additional bottles featured in your quarterly box through Kakaako Wine
  • Free delivery on Oahu and $25 flat rate shipping to the Neighbor Islands or $75 flat rate shipping to the Mainland
  • Special access to select Hawaii Food & Wine Festival events throughout the year
  • Complimentary hold on your next box to be received at a later date if you are out of town
    • Note that you will still be charged for that quarter’s box in order to hold
  • Free cancellation prior to the next quarter’s cutoff date
    • Note that HASHI cannot guarantee memberships will be available should you wish to rejoin
Where do you deliver/ship?

Free delivery is available anywhere on Oahu. A flat rate shipping fee of $25 to the Neighbor Islands or $75 to the Mainland will be applied to any order outside of Oahu. International shipping is not available at this time.

When will my box be delivered?

The 2023 HASHI Wine Club shipment schedule is currently February, May, September and December (dates subject to change). Boxes will be delivered between Monday-Friday one week following the order/change cutoff date. Your payment will be processed by the cutoff date, one week prior to delivery. Your wines will be delivered after your payment is processed each quarter.

Members who purchase a subscription prior to the cutoff date each quarter will be included in the current scheduled delivery/shipment. Members who purchase a subscription after the cutoff date will be included in the following quarter’s delivery/shipment.

Please note that someone 21 years of age or older must be present to receive the wine.

What are the delivery/shipping costs?

Ground delivery on Oahu is included in the club pricing! Shipping to the Neighbor Islands is a flat rate of $25 per box. Shipping to the Mainland U.S. will be a flat rate of $75 per box. We do not currently ship Internationally.

As noted above, someone 21 years of age or older must be present to receive the wine.

Can I order additional bottles of the wines I received?

Yes! Unlike other wine subscription services, you’ll be able to purchase additional bottles of the featured wines from your box each quarter through Kakaako Wine with a 10% off promo code. These wines will remain exclusive to Hashi Wine Club members to purchase for one (1) month following the shipment.

What if I want to adjust the shipment date or place my box on hold?

No problem! You can manage the delivery schedule along with the rest of your account details by logging in to the Kakaako Wine website and managing your subscription. What if I need to cancel?

You may cancel your wine club subscription at anytime, free of charge. Just be sure to cancel before the cutoff date for each quarter so that you are not charged for future boxes. Once your cancellation takes effect, you will no longer be eligible to receive Wine Club member benefits.

Please note that we will only offer a limited number of wine club memberships per year, so once you cancel, HASHI cannot guarantee that memberships will be available should you wish to rejoin. If you are traveling and know you’ll be out of town, you may place a hold on your next box to be received at a later date by logging into your account. You will be charged during the normal billing cycle in order to hold the box.

Can I skip a box?

Unfortunately the only way to opt out of receiving your quarterly box would be to cancel your wine club subscription. Please note that we will only offer a limited number of wine club memberships per year, so once you cancel, HASHI cannot guarantee that memberships will be available should you wish to rejoin. 

What's your return/refund policy?

All sales are final once payment has been processed for your respective quarterly box. No returns/refunds can be provided after that.

If you suspect a bottle is bad, simply put the cork back in the bottle and leave the wine in the bottle; empty bottles cannot be taken back. Contact Kakaako Wine at Contact@kakaakowine.com  or 808-779-0142 and they will arrange to have the wine picked up for further inspection and testing, and will provide a replacement for you.
